IP Pro

Modern software for visualization and processing of resistivity and induced polarization (resistivity & IP) data.

IP Pro allows loading, visualizing, and processing data (time series) acquired in both frequency-domain and time-domain modifications of resistivity and induced polarization methods

The distinctive features of the software include:
  • Multi-stage robust processing algorithms;
  • Batch processing of large datasets;
  • A dedicated algorithm for merging adjacent survey patches.

Implemented Functionality

The following functions are currently implemented in the software:
  • Data Loading
    The primary data format for IP data loaded into IP Pro is the *.label format of the IMVP-8 multichannel receiver and MARY Smart receiver, manufactured by Nord-West LLC. Support for any other data format can be implemented upon user request.
  • Visualization and preparation of time series for processing
    The software supports clear visualization of acquired data, automatic and manual marking of operating frequencies, as well as manual rejection of the most noisy time intervals.

  • Robust data processing in time and frequency domains
    IP Pro incorporates a powerful set of user-configurable multi-stage data processing tools, enabling high-quality results even at very low signal-to-noise ratios in the raw data.

  • Graphical visualization of processing results
    Processing results obtained with IP Pro can be displayed as color maps of apparent resistivity and polarizability. Data interpolation parameters for map construction are user-defined.
  • Survey patch merging
    A special feature of the software is an automatic algorithm for merging data from different transmitter electrode positions (patches) into a smooth apparent resistivity map.
